Year after year when the "january birthdays" thread is started I jump in and submit mine and year after year it's forgotten. So I question the point of even mentioning birthdays, events, etc. cos,to me, most folks only look at the calendar as a whole and not the small details. Don't get me wrong, I understand the work that goes into making the calenar and I truely appreciate it and wish it would continue. I just don't see the point of going through the trouble of listing every minor detail."
Hmmm... I guess she's got a point. i've been doing the calendars for 3 years but i haven't really kept track of how often posted birthdays are remembered. so, if no one is really getting anything out of them then i don't need to do them any more. thanks to everyone who's contributed, and i hope everyone enjoys the last one for this month
I never said not to do them. I just said don't bother with the little details. It's fine to have something nice to look at (even if it is Fat Boy Smith. ). Just don't bother filling in the events like b-days, etc....

I look at them. I got into the habit of printing them but now my printer is not doing a very good job so I can't anymore. But I usually remember from my friend's list on myspace. I get a reminder of upcoming birthdays. That's how I know bdays on here and why I didn't know it was your birthday Simonsloveslave. Sorry and Happy Belated!!
Melissa I know working on the calendar is a lot of work! I understand if you don't want to do them anymore. Thanks for making the best looking calendars I've ever seen! I have saved more than one just because it looks great!

i print them out as well.
it's amazing to me how nice they come out - i always enjoy others cure art/creations. and i don't think i've ever submitted my birthday to be incl in march's calendar.
and i have heard others refer to them on the official messageboard.
but, just for the record melissa - i would miss them very much.
It's cool that people print them out. I just thought if they were done, but with events left out, then the dates would be open for you to mark them. I mean, what if it's someone's b-day from here, but you have something due the same day. This way with the space blank you can mark both events easier. I hope that makes sense!

the little details are the whole point of the calendars, so everyone can take in some eye candy and see what's happening on Planet Cure each month. even my birthday has been forgotten (the pressure's on now, arc! ) if you want to print it out and mark your own event on a date that's already filled by all means please use a post-it. if you want a birthday thread and and no one starts one for you, start one yourself. and as for the something to look at being Fat Boy Smith, let me just say i'd roll in that dough any fkn day i've said a hundred times i'm open to suggestions, so send me your fave pics of lol and ask for an all lol-alicious spread. be my myspace friend, or anyone else's and then we'll get reminders for your birthday, cause i honestly don't pay attention to them after i've put them in a calendar. i truly love making the calendars but i will not do a blank one because it defeats the purpose. i may offer a blank version by email for personal use, if that works for people.

SHE SAID ROLL IN THE DOUGH ANY FKNG DAY!!!!!
LMRAO!!!!!
Now seriously-yeah I know you were but- that calendar rocks! It's the best one yet! Fire just commented on the colors. And the design with the lyrics is great! But I understand your point. And I really don't mind being the birthday mod because I really love birthdays but I am going to miss a few. I dont' mind not having a calander made. We missed Lol's and Matt's...but I'll live. Happy Belated IS! And if anyone wants to help be the birthday mod feel free!
I still don't see the point of the little details when no one pays attention to them. To me it seems only the popular people, those in the clique, are the ones remembered. And the rest of us are left on the side.

WTF? what clique are we talking about here and who are the popular people? you seem to be the only one with something negative to say about the calendars, and it's all because no one said happy birthday to you? maybe start your own birthday thread and invite us all instead of a throwing a pity party for one. i really don't know what else to say. there is no *clique*, the calendar is for everyone one here to use or not use as they please. it's the Club America calendar with Club America members' details. i will not waste time making an empty calendar, especially when i get requests for special holidays, etc. (i do take requests.) i've always gotten good feedback until the issue with your birthday. i'm very sorry if no one here said happy birthday to you. but like i said, it has happened to everyone here at some time and no one really gets hurt over it.
the calenders are awsome, IS keep doing them how you want to. they are beautiful!!! an its nice to see ppls birthdays and stuff. but ppl shouldnt get their panties in a bunch because some ppl on a message board that they dont even really know (or do really know) didnt say happy birthday. who cares, its just a birthday, thats what your family and friends in real life are for. if feelings get hurt because no birthday greeting were given, toughen up! gosh. and/or get a life.
And so what if I complianed. All I did was speak up and expressed my feelings/opinion.
Heaven forbid I do anything like that again.

Simon you are never afraid to express yourself and most of the stuff you post is pretty funny and unique. But we are human and we are goign to forget a birthday once in a while. I forgot to post a thread for Midnights birthday and I went over to her house that day. I think we are the clique-this fan club. I don't see why anyone would see themselves as an outsider here. Some of my real friends are on this board and everyone I've met is pretty cool. So don't get too centered around a calendar. Try to just enjoy the forum.

shellie, the calendar is animated (file turned out bigger than expected) and so it's kinda hard to load. it might not be playing for you and just stuck on the first frame. if you'd like i can email it to you.
