As a loyal Cure fan for 20+ years, I was appalled by reading the news this morning. If he does this, I don't know if I can take him seriously again. Ashlee Simpson is a talent-less little twit. He should not associate himself with that. I know he has had some writers block issues or whatever, but to do this...I don't get it. He is going to alienate too many fans this way, including myself.

Yeah I'll go across the world, the country, sleep on the street to see them. But I'm not even going to bother now. I know we all are just fans. But honestly without the hardcore fans, The Cure are nothing. Robert can do whatever the hell he wants and so can we. Including ending our support of his music.

Just another sign of the slow descent that started back in 2001. It's been downhill ever since. One shit release after the next--barring the Trilogy DVD, which will stand as the last halfway good thing they ever put out (mark my words!).
