how come there are tickets for the hollywood bowl show for sale right now (via the various ticket bandits)(for insane prices) but you can't but any through the box office or ticketbastards yet?

Calm down Filth! Unless they have the tickets posted they are waiting just like us. You can call ticketmaster everyday once or twice to see if they have gone on sale yet but I doubt they wouldn't be available through their website. I thought they were going on sale this weekend but I guess not. Or at least not on sale today...

some people own season tickets and rent boxs for the seasom. if htey sont want to go see the cure...they can sell their seats.

maybe the tickets you are seeing are from season ticket holders.

Huh I wonder if season ticket holders will be able to sell their tickets for the LA show. I called Hollywood Bowl and they said it's a leased event so they have no info about the show. They told me to call ticketmaster for any info.

Can anyone tell me what that means? What would be the alternative? Just curious.

i live next to the bowl. the bowl hosts shows all summer long in the vein of classical music, jazz, etc. this is all part of the hollywood bowl series shows. they are basically the same every year. also, the bowl leases out the space for private concerts...such as the cure in october...arcade fire in september, etc. season ticket holders only hold tickets for the bowl series events...not leased events. people selling tix already are likely people who are affiliated with the bowl in some way and have guaranteed tickets for all shows for some reason.

it's looking like I have 2 xtra tix in the 200's 60.00 each plus fees, will know closer to the show but if a certain filthy girl might want them let me know.
