BILLBOARD INTERVIEW...

Sorry I didnt copy and paste it but I wanted to just express how EXCITED I am to hear this new album after reading Roberts interview.

Could this be the ALBUM we've all been waiting for....ONE That gets played time and time again? (unlike the last two at least for me anyways)

I like that Robert seems to "know" what we want as a fan too! I thought he played WAY to many of the "the cure, the cure" songs on the last tour.

Anywho.....I cant wait for the concert and double album! YIPPIE!

Kel

you know, it could be
hes not saying "this is the best album we have ever done" yet
so it very well could be.

did you see how he admitted that ross broke up the last cure line up!
i still hate that little bastard

yea, i enjoyed the article.
...thought it sounded like rsx finally came to terms with the damage rr did to the cure ... the cure as a living entity. let's hope he didn't kill the cure juju in the process. rsx makes the new cd sound quite alluring, if only because he inadvertantly seems a little uncertain.

i hope they still have enough friends in the industry to get some air-hype for this record. there are certainly enough alt-rock fans out there starving for a good concert to make the tour successful, so hopefully, the record will do well for them... (better than the last train-wreck)

Once I heard The Cure I felt like Robert could of produced it better. You can tell just by listening to it that Ross didn't get the sound that Robert could of gotten by himself. I appreciate the fact that Robert felt like giving up control for one album...but it was like listening to a B album when I should of been listening to the best Cure album ever! So I've been looking forward to this new once since the first time I finished listening to The Cure.

I don't blame Ross for everything though...I like some songs on The Cure and I love the direction they are going.

I think Roger just comes around when he feels like playing in a band but he seems happier but not richer being a solo artist...I still miss Perry. Can't he come back and play keys or something?

i know, i miss perry too.
we still dont know what went on with all of that mess,
my "contact" dosnt even know what went on all of that.
rumor has it deryl was sneeking underage girls for things..
i'll leave the rest up to you.
but no one has really found what happened.

i think it would be kind of a let down to have perry come back and play keys
when poral is in his old spot. but then again perry and poral are friends....
oh the drama 40 y/o males make

Well I think Perry played keys first in The Cure because Robert's sister taught him. He took Roger's place then Porl's place. So it wouldn't be THAT odd. Annon I know you read Never Enough:)

[The following should be considered fan gossip or personal viewpoint]

perry had a terrible problem w/ peruvian marching powder. he always seemed like a very sweet guy, but it must have caught up with him (as there are others in the band w/ expensive coke habits too).

roger became a casualty of robert's efforts to appease ross. he basically did the same thing he always did (blab to craig @ cof re: all the bands personal news). and robert just snapped. in that respect, ross was a bad influence on robert as well as the cure's music.

daryl was the self-appointed master of prostitutes for the cure crew (and d-mode before them). he definately prefers underage girls. i have 1st hand knowlege of his frequent requests for locals to line-up "young, hot" hookers for them. i have a friend who told me daryl granted them backstage access after receiving blowjobs from her & her 14yr old sister. you'd think a fat, bald, fuck like daryl would have no problem getting teenage poontang.

daryl is a vulture & a dirtbag. i bet his mum is proud of him. his wife should ditch him & take half of his fortune.
but, unfortunately, the threat of imprisonment was probably not the reason for his dismissal... he told robert that if he shit-canned his bro, he would leave too... never thinking they'd cut him loose.

HA! good call robert!

Uh here's the correct website for gossip

www.tmz.com

orrr

www.perezhilton.com

Can you tell I really don't give a rat's ass who does what drug in The Cure-present or past members? The only thing they do that affects my life as a fan are the music and the shows. Period...I don't care what drugs they take during the album or during the shows if any at all! If they make it public knowlegde..all right..otherwise it's none of our business...

next thing I know some idiot is going to ask where Robert lives again.

Oh the bloody humanity!!!
