Went to the concert and gave Robert Smith an invitation to our wedding. The concert went OFF best concert i have been too.

My absolute favourite is "A Short Term Effect". I seem to be the only one who likes it...

today is "Inbetween Days".

Sioxsie - Short Term Effect I fucking love! Those whirling guitars are like demons shearing through your body - I think its one of the druggiest sounding tracks The Cure have done and it bugs me that they never do it live, especially since there are no keyboards so I'd imagine it to be quite a straight forward track to do, I know it sounded great on the Trilogy DVD. Hopefully it will be a track they introduce live at some stage but as far as I'm aware they have hardly ever performed it in their sets, much like All Cats Are Grey, Funeral Party and Same Deep Water never get done live either - more the shame. I am happy they have started to reintroduce Primary again though, I think its one of their best singles and when they do it live it truly comes into its own - its got great energy and the lyrics to it are some of Roberts best.

But following on from what I said earlier, I have always wondered why they never do their best tracks live - Same Deep Water and All Cats are, in my opinion, the greatest 15 minutes of music they have done. I think I would wet my pants 10 times over if I heard those songs live. And wheres This Twlight Garden!!! Ahhhhhhh

LOL I just had STE in my head today! Good Choice:) And I'm Twilight_Garden on MFC. There's two of us on there. That's one of my top three b-sides. Along with A Pink Dream and Halo..I don't know if I'd wet my pants though but I know what you mean.

Not does it have a fantastic sound but the lyrics are entirely brillant! It really makes you think what it is really about... futher more Robert looks absolutly GORGEOUS in the music video and the inagery they picked for it fits perfectly with the lyrics. LOVE IT! Comming in second is lullaby..."be still, be calm, be quite now, my precious boy. Don't struggle like that I will only love you more." THAT is the hottest lyric I have ever heard in my life!
