I'm listening to Lovesong from Mexico night 2 and you can hear Robert but he sounds like part of the crowd because the crowd is signing along SO LOUDLY. You hear that in the US? NOOOO!! We suck! The End. Next tour I want to go to a show where I'm not the one of the few around who sings their heart out back to Robert!

Soooo true, they are too cool for school!!!!Same thing with the interpol crowd. A couple of years ago we saw Interpol play to a sold out crowd at the Greek Theater, which was a huge accomplishment for them, so it was an amazing show, they were so excited, we were in the pit, and NOBODY moved, the whole time, they were standing there like robots, looking at me and my hubby as if we were the morons cause we were THE ONLY ONES dancing and singing the whole time...and God forbid any of them crack a smile.

It sucks that the herd mentality is so strong at concerts. Either everyone is freaking out, or no one is allowed to be exuberant. And in this city, it is really one extreme or the other.
