Who thinks we are going to get one before the new shows?

The doubt is building up for me. Then again I'm trying not to care very much because if Robert doesn't care when the album is done, why should anyone else care?

But I'm wondering about our Cure 2008 year. It would be nice to hear a new album. Sometimes I get frustrated listening to the same songs which I love over and over when I know they keep pushing back releasing the new album!~

i have given up listening to the cure. its old for me now. ive been doing it for too long. i need new music from ppl not heading into their 50's.

im not looking forward to the new album, i feel like its going to suck anyway.

i hope the new shows are for sure, i am looking forward to seeing them live and hanging out with all of you guys. thats the best part, hanging out with friends and then making fun of the band. well more hanging out than the latter....
i also enjoy preforming strip teases on the sidewalk. some of you might get that.

It is a biut of a tease isn't it...I expected to see them then literally cried when I heard they postponed the tour, now pushing back the album. But then Mr. Smith does require the utmost perfection. It will come and it will be worth it!

Regardless of what Mr. Smith thinks, I'm a bit impatient. The fact that this album keeps getting postponed irritates me. The boy needs to just shut up about it until it's ready. I have a limit to how many disappointments I can take in a year, and sure the tour and the album delays are tiny in comparison, but because they are so small, they are the ones that get the most vitriol from me. The rest of my life gets my patience. I wanted something to distract me. It didn't happen. It irritates me. I'm still not convinced there's any actual record. Maybe a million loose tracks just sitting around collecting dust, but I'll be calling this Chinese Curocracy and maybe even dub him Axl Smith for a while....

i'm just afraid that, after all this time, it'll suck.

there's nothing more fun than a cure concert ~ i don't care how old & bald they all get. it never gets tired for me. i mean, i don't do the drugs like we used to, but it's a great excuse to get drunk & dance to an enigmatic band.

siouxsie said recently that rsx "looks like a potato w/ hair." well, seeing him standing next to the butt-ugly guy in korn just reminded me of how gorgeous rsx still is, even if he is a balding XXL.

so, i guess it doen't matter if the new cd sucks ~ i hope to enjoy a few shows this summer!

If it sucks I'm going to take my Cure records in the middle of a grass field and go Office Space on them!

I can't imagine them making an album for years and then putting out crap!

I still have faith left in their talent although my impatience is eating it up daily!

i can't believe what i'm hearing. Robert and the boyzz have been putting out excellent music for years and all of the sudden either age or impatience is turning everyone. i for one am looking forward to seeing them in May and to definitly adding their, more than likely last, CD to my collection.

I wouldn't believe what Dennis says about the Cure. And I haven't turned I'm just impatient. I still believe when this album finally gets here this is going to be an amazing Cure album. Maybe the best because of the lineup. I'm much happier when I find out nothing about the new album till the release date. Then go back and figure out the how and how long.

everyone on this forum who's having a laugh @ the cure's expense, i know will spend a small fortune going to as many cure shows as money/work permit. so, i think we've earned the right to chuckle about the upcoming cd.

and, lets face it; after a long, brilliant career, the last cd was shockingly bad. but, you figure other great bands (bowie, beatles, stones, aerosmith, U2, etc) have all put out shitty records, and then managed to redeem themselves w/ more wonderful releases after their crap period, so there's hope for our lads!

hahaha....apparantly i've struck a nerve. maybe i did judge and i apologize. yes, their last CD was kind of a dud but i also have a little hope that the next will kick butt. my intentions today were to find out about the new album...not piss people off. i like this website and hope i can continue to post on it. i'll soooo watch how i word things..hehe

to be honest...i am dying to jear the new album! i agree that the last album wasnt their best, but i still have great hope for this new one.

i just tend to be a little....ummm...sarcastic, but its all in fun!

filth is right, those of us that are venting our frustations here, are the fans that fly all over the world to see our fav band, we own everything they have ever put out (not to mention albums they havent...lol), and love the boys more than anyone!

we are just impatient! and tired of false updates that dont ever come true.

even a crap album is worth watching steph do her strip thing on a street corner!!! lol. the worst part is the waiting. putting it off and teasing for years like this, if they don't put out another disintegration or porn or even faith they'll be torn to shreds by the fans, end of story.
