| I really liked him! Thought he was an asset to acting and a genuinely down to earth everyday bloke. Its really sad!
He was a big Cure fan as well for those who didnt know. But why suicide? He leaves his 3 year old girl Matilda. Oh man

he was a great actor! so sad and an gigantic loss to movie world and the world in general. i guess no one will ever really know what happened in his apartment. RIP Heath.

I'm devastated! I knew him from my party/single days in LA...
I don't think it was suicide, I think it was accidental.
He really was a huge Cure fan...and a really nice guy...great soul...
What a huge loss...

the news ruined my day yesterday. its so sad, especially since he has a little girl. i really enjoyed him. i'm sure it was accidental, just a careless mistake. rip

Yeah, we used to hang out back in 2001.
Then I met my husband and stopped hanging
out with cute boys like him...he used to invite
a small group of people over (he lived
in LA at the time) and play a bunch of cure songs,
he had a bunch of cool cure vinyls.
Can't believe he died...too sad...

Pinkcat thats amazing! I always liked him he seemed so down-to-earth and I know he hated the whole fame and attention thing. I think he suffered a lot from anxiety and also was very critical of his own performances, I thought he was amazing in Brokeback, what a film! I wonder what his favourite Cure album and song was?

I couldn't agree with you more.
He was an amazing actor and human being.
I'm not sure which one was his fav album/song.
He used to play all the pop stuff,
and he played them a lot...we didn't have
a conversation about the cure. I remember
saying that I loved them too, but that was about it...
The truth is, I became more obsessed with the cure
after seeing them live in 2003, before that I only new
disintegration, wish and staring at the sea.

Well I would have liked to have met him, very much so. You were one of the few lucky ones that actually got to meet him and spend some time with him. I'm pretty sceptical that it was suicide though, accidental overdose seems to be much more likely. I know he was really into Nick Drake too who I admire and also enjoy musically. He died young.
