Hello,
My name is Mark Harter. I am a Marmon Truck Enthusiast. I currently own a 1973 Marmon HDT Cabover Tractor. I am involved with Ken Matuszak, the proud owner of "The Last Marmon", in helping promote the 2nd annual Marmon Truck Gathering.
This Gathering is open to all Marmon Badged vehicles, ie: Cars, Trucks, and others. We held the first show last year in Denton, TX, just down the road from where the Marmon Trucks former plant was located. In all we had 14 trucks show up, including a 1951 Marmon-Herrington Dump Truck and a 1962 Marmon-Herrington 6x4 road tractor, the only one of its kind in existence, both curtesy of Donald Chew of Brighton, Co.
Our show was also featured in two trucking publications, Roadking Magazine and RPM Magazine.
Ken and myself are interested in helping preserve the Marmon nameplate and providing parts, accessories, along with technical advice and other related items to keep interest in mark, and all vehicles badged with the Marmon, and Marmon-Herrington name plates.
Our Marmon Truck Gathering will be on April 18th and 19th 2003 in Anna, TX., Our 2003 show promises to be bigger and better with more people and companies who are interested in perserving the Marmon nameplate. For more information please visit our website ad for more information. the address is:
