Is a 1947 Ford Model 799T Marmon Herrington 4x4 Plow/ Dump truck, serial #CM5-4 1895234. The truck was restored a number of years ago and stored inside since that time, without hardly any use, except for occasional starting. The engine is a Ford 89ab flathead V-8 which runs great, purrs like a kitten with approximatly 89,067miles on odometer. The transmission is a 4speed HI-LO and shifts fine. It has a new 6volt battery, and also has had the gas tank reconditioned. The truck is equipped with a Frink plow frame, V-Plow, and Wing all in great working condition. The truck also has the original Garwood Dump body and hoist. All the hydraulics work with good up and down pressure. It has duel PTO's, one runs the dump and the other runs the hydraulics. The tires are 7.50x20's and in fair condition, also spare tires and rims included. The truck was originally used for winter road maintenance in the Town of Shrewsbury, VT. I am the 3rd owner, (Town of Shrewsbury, guy who restored it in the 80's and me). Ready to Show. A really RARE original 4x4 conversion with all original equipment in solid shape.
I recently lost storage and would hate to see it sit outdoors so therefore it must go! I would be interested in other vehicles (tractors, trucks, cars) in trade or reasonable offers.......
