I also understand the difficulty in hosting a multi-module campaign on a single server. I also understand how difficult it is to tweak that one thing on dlvl 5 when it links to 1 or 2 other modules (like Tristram). What I do not understand is whether or not local variables stored on the character carry over from one module to another. I know that they don't carry from one server to another, but I have to wonder if, in moving to a different module on the same server, whether it would still be present.

These are all things that must be taken into consideration. Believe me, it's not just a yes or no thing, otherwise I would have said one way or the other by now. I WISH it was that simple. Boy do I ever. But, since it doesn't appear to be, I will keep heading in the same direction I have been while still keeping the other side of the coin an option.

I haven't forsaken you modem users. I'm just limited in how much I can cater to a multitude of users. You know? Rest assured that I will do what I can to make it easy on everybody to play this module, even if that means extra work outside of the creation process (like making a seperate module that doesn't require sounds, for example).
