And you know what? Aside from the somewhat annoying (and even this is so much a non-issue that it practically rips a whole in the fabric of existence) "Coming Soon", I enjoyed the new look. Simply because it's new.
I, like you, don't mind the occasional "Hey, we've got this coming out", so long as it's not intrusive. And, quite frankly, the splash screen ISN'T obtrusive.
Having read the threads from which the quoted text comes from in their entirety, I admit to having softened slightly on the issue. However, I still stand by my argument that his attitude, and moreover his past actions, are unacceptable behavoir for someone in his position. As such, I honestly don't think I'll be buying EITHER expansion, and maybe not even another Bioware game, unless it's danm well worth it. I'm not so cynical and spiteful as to pass up a great game simply because of an elitist prick, but I'm not about to shell out $60+ dollars for a halfway enjoyable game and know that it's paying that elitist arsehole's salary. Sorry, but that ain't how I play.
