Waiting a bit

Bio wanted SoU clients to be able to connect to NWN 1.30 servers yet bring along all their abilities, basically to enhance cross-game compatibility. Nice idea but they seem to have botched it to the point of causing character corruption, so I'm not touching it until/if a patch addresses these issues.

Also a bit miffed at them bringing back SecureROM. I know how to circumvent it but it's still stupid.

Other parts are a mixed bag. Tilesets are new and fresh but somewhat mediocre, Bigby's line was botched (though fixable), PrCs are a minor improvement for me, very nice feat selection esp. expertise, some much-needed improvements for bard and paladin spells, easy-to-use treasure system, OC looks very solid. Probably worth getting but not in any rush. As the IGN review criticized there's already a ton of very good free content out there, and many of the cool scripting abilites like database and cutscene are avaliable in 1.30 anyway.
