It seems many of the SoU issues revolved around an incomplete stand-alone server update, this was fixed on Saturday. I went ahead and got the XP, but I left an original install on my computer in case I have any trouble or I want to make non-expansion modules.
Haven't really had a chance to play it yet, but it see,ms that everything Atari could've screwed up, they did. The packaging was uninspiring & ugly (no artwork to be found), contained a flimsy fold-out, a thin and innacurate manual, probably the secure-rom too, AND the CD-KEY appears on a red slip when it was supposed to be in the manual. Except that not every SoU box actually has a red slip: people have bought fresh copies without any CD-KEY whatsover. Naturally that's pretty useless.
The new Atari is a real disgrace to the true one.
