I was wondering... You use reconstructors in conjunction with other conditioners. I talked to a woman who works at the beauty supply store and she said that reconstructors were basically for.. well, reconstructing hair that's been restructured due to chemical processing, i.e. coloring, perming, bleaching, etc. She suggested that my daughter use a reconstructor once per week since she bleaches and colors (turquoise for two months, pink for the next two months... W-I-L-D, man! ) her hair.
My question to you is, do you have any chemicals in your hair? Coloring or perming? Or do you simply use a reconstructor as a conditioner, and if so, what kind of results are you having? I've tried Nexxus' Keraphix, which is a reconstructor, and it didn't do much for me. I don't color nor do I perm my hair. I was wondering whether the benefits of a reconstructor might be lost on me since I have virgin hair.
