| On Saturday and had a fab time buying hair toys, conditioners and such. I found a product there I am really loving and would like to share with you all.
It is called "Carrot Oil" made by "Namaste Products" and comes in a jar. It is very light yellow with a creamy/oily consistency. I have used it as a leave in (very small amount)and it soaks in very well. I used it to tame my flyaways while wearing my hair up and last night I really soaked my hair with it, shampooed this AM (one sudsing), conditioned as normal and My hair looks and feels really nice today!
Some (but not all) of the ingredients are horsetail, stinging nettle, jojoba, panthenol, vitamin E, beta-carotene,castor oil and vegetable oil. No cones, petroleum or mineral oil.
Have any of you tried this stuff?
PS: mostly straight, babyfine, dark ash blonde with a ton of annoying cowlicks! AND just hitting the top of my shoulders, yay! |

I have about the same type of hair as you so next time I am in the neighborhood I'll check this product out. My hair is longer by about 3 inches and a Medium blonde highlighted to a golden beige - have 6 cowlicks-how many do you have? |

I have one at each temple, that's 2...One above my left eyebrow, that's three...One at the crown, that's four and one at the nape, that's five...Wow! You beat me with 6! I find the longer it gets, the less of an issue they are.
I am really loving this carrot oil stuff! It's "Organic Root Stimulator" and it also comes in Olive oil and a few other "flavors".
I am not as enamored with Nioxin as I was...I still like the Bionutrient 2C, but the shampoo turned out to be very drying. | |
