The Amazing Spider Man

Saw this last night with the very pregnant gf. (baby due TODAY!). Frankly not that amazing. Average popcorn fodder. I really don't understand why they did a remake of the origin sorry when it was done so much better so recently, unless the absolute terribleness of Spider Man 3 had erased all memory of the Toby McGuire from public
consciousness. In every way this falls short of the 2002 movie. Unlikable characters, little humour, unconvincing love interest, less action, wrong actress playing aunt May. It felt more like Twilight than spider man, and I fear that is what they were going for. 2 out of 5 from me.
