they just kept the frost from settleing on me. keeping me from freezeing. they help to build a warm barrior between me, my stuff and the elements outside!

Shingles also cost lots of money even though they are built and put on by high school drop outs (i have nothing against them) they constantly fall off, I have to get them replaced every 2 years and my neighbourhood made a rule that if you wanna live on this block you have to get the most expensive kind of shingles and my block is semi-trailer park.
I fear that you feel lost when I read about your frustration with the 'shingles.' It's all the worse when I think that you have had to deal with your ex-boyfriend lately. That guy doesn't deserve you, and you are so much better off without him.
I don't care what Mom and Dad say, you're still a human being, and deserve respect. When will this sad world get a grip and accept people for who they are? I know we've had our differences in the past, but I think siblings are always the best of friends to each other. When all others have turned away, you will always have family.
