Hey, I just saw this movie, and I thought it was great. It has a little bit of a Hitchcock/film noir feel to it.Had a good story, which was a little hard to figure out at first, but has lots of little plot twists. It definitely had a few shocker scenes. I wish I had gotten the DVD instead of the video, so I could see all the extras. Has anyone else seen it yet? What did you think?
Me likee. I was a little dissapointed in the hackneyd ending. It was a variation on an old plot twist. I kind of hoped for something more groundbreaking. I watched "High Fidelity" right afterward cause I was not done with Cusack. I dig that dude.
No, in "Stand by Me" he played Gordie's older brother that had been killed.
I haven't seen "Grosse Pointe Blank" yet. Keep meaning to, but haven't gotten around to it. I always forget what I want to rent as soon as I set foot in the rental store.
LOVED him in the movie Grosse Point Blank. He was fantastic. As for identity. I enjoyed it, it was different. Had me completely confused initially, but I did recommend it to people. What I liked, is that it was NOT what I expected.
I've seen Cusack in tons of films, and he always plays the same guy:
Grosse Point Blank (friendly assassin)
Say Anything (friendly sometimes stalker type)
Hi Fidelity ( friendly music store owner)
Better off dead ( friendly high school guy)
the Grifters (Friendly con man guy)
Pushing Tin (friendly air traffic controller)
Maybe it's me but old Cusack just seems a friendly guy.
Still, I keep paying my hard earned 8 bucks to see the films, and am rarely let down.
