I've seen this movie a couple times and I can't really put my finger on my opinion of it. Maybe if I knew exactly what it was about and how everything ties in. I have a basic idea, but I could be sadly wrong. Let me know.
in my opinon Donnie Darko was an amazing movie but you have to watch it with someone else and really sit down and dicuss it until you figure it out, i did this with my best friend and it was extremely interesting how different our thoughts were at first but the more we watched it and talked about it the more we figured out about it
OK - Donnie Darko. Its not bad, its not great. I am curious to know what the directors cut may include. But for the last couple of years this has become a real cult flick (mostly cause its on cable a lot) - If you want some late nite discussion flicks try, Altered States, Vanilla Sky, anything by David Lynch (preferably R rated), etc.
It seems Mr. Daniel and I agree Donnie Darko is decent in my opinion and does invoke a certain amount of thought however lynch I think requires oodles more...
