When I was really young I remember seeing an old Hong Kong film ... to tell you the truth, it could have been from the 60's ... on late night television in the early 80's. All I remember is that there seemed to be two woman, one evil (she may have been a princess) and one good. The good one has a scene where shes running through a bamboo forest with her arms outstretched. After a while she stops and turns around and all the bamboo she's run past has been cut by her hands and falls to the ground. This sharp handed method works into the plot later as she assassinates the evil woman and then kills herself as well by using her hands for decapitation. It gets a little weird at this point as the evil henchmen of the evil woman decide to swap heads between the women. The rest of the film is a play on identity and what part of the body controls evil or good. (I think the flm surmised it was the women's blood not their heads ... so the evil body with the good head was still evil and thriving, while the good body with the evil head was good but dying). So am I crazy? Does anybody elese have any idea what this film was? I'd love to find out. There have to be some Honk Kong film buffs out there that could tell me. Thanks in advance.
