So I haven't seen 'Robots' OR 'The Son of the Mas' and after Todd's review, I probably won't. But I do have a question about the rating. SotM got 1/2 a cookie and Robot's got 2 cookies.

Does this mean that there was more to look at or the plot was slightly more interesting in Robots? Was it more forgiving because it was only a cartoon?

Clarification would be appreciated.

I went to see this Friday with my son. I actually thought the movie was really good. Sure, it had no cohesive plot. There were parts that I could not laugh at, but the kids did. That were parts that I could laugh at and the kids would not get. All in all, the tradeoffs worked for me. I enjoyed it, my son enjoyed it. Mission accomplished. BTW, the CGI was great.
