I don't understand it! the film was a big box-office smash in 1985 but suddently it gets golden raspberry awards including for worst picture, well screw that!

I thought it was a good action flick and a great sequel to the original 1982 classic drama/action flick! there was plenty of non-stop action, adventure, some romance, a little emotional moment, explosions, rousing music score by Jerry Goldsmith, Charles Napier ( from "Jury Duty", "Silence of the Lambs" and "The Critic") and a great speech at the end given by Rambo.

I highly recommend this movie to action lovers everwhere!

I've actually never seen Rambo. I now want to see it thanks to you. Its supposed to rain tomorrow in MA, so instead of golfing, maybe I'll rent Rambo. Wow. I'll have to wait until the kids go to sleep. If they ever go to sleep. Go to sleep!!!!!

No no no - Don't see Rambo Part II, search to find Rambo: First Blood. Here's why its good, er, better than Pt.2

1) David Caruso dies in it
2) Directed by the same guy that directed 'Weekend At Bernie's'
3) Brian Dennehy plays a cop (wait - is he in a movie where he doesn't play a cop?)
4) You aren't entirely sure if you should be laughing or crying at Stallone's performance in the final scene.

I liked the speech he gave in the movie.  Just like the Rocky series as soon as this became a cash cow for Stallone it began getting ridiculous.  

Ironic too, in hindsight, how one of the Rambo movies is dedicated to the brave people of Afghanistan in their fight against the Soviets. 

Were Stallone to make another Rambo, I'm sure instead of playing Buzkashi with the Afghans he'd be blowing them up with TNT, shooting at them with an M16, or knifing them with a K-Bar.
