First R-rated movie? Good? Great? Total letdown?

Mine was Risky Business. Rebecca De Mornay make me so Hornay!

Silent Night Deadly Night. I was about 9. At the time there was a lot of controversy surrounding the movie for being too risque. My Aunts brushed it off and took me and my friend anyway.

When we went to purchase the tickets the woman strongly urged my Aunts not to let us see this movie but she purchased four tickets anyway.
Talk about uncomfortable moments. It wasn't the horror scenes it was the sex scenes. Imagine being 9 and sitting between your two Aunts and watching what would almost be considered soft core porn
The most memorable moment's from the movie was the chick being hung on antlers through her tits. The other was when someone was sledding down a hill and got decapitated.

And, why do adults think little girls are better equipped to handle R-rated movies than little boys? I think it's something mental, I mean menstral.

Regardless, the ratings system is a joke. It's barely even a guideline for parents.

Well My parents were pretty strict back then but I think it was one of these.

Excorcist, Rambo, Predator or a van dam movie.

Excorcist is a good one. Linda Blair gets a little freaky with the padre. Wierd.

90% of the nation seems to have been weaned on Rambo.

Mine was Debbie Does Dallas - although I jumped a class altogether -

I was crouched in the corner and ridiculed as drunk uncles and aunts got it on in a seedy and dimly lit hotel room. I think I remember a cockroach on the floor next to me.

Just kidding - that didn't happen.

It was probably Predator.

HAHA

I don't mean to creep you out - I just thought I'd try my hand at imagery.
Guess it's the wrong type of funny.

Well, you nailed the imagery.

"Who could it be? Believe it or not, it's just me-eee." Fuckin' loved that show! Donald Rumsfeld was awesome in it!

opening scence of some dude in armour doin' the wild thing with a chic ...
the whole birth of Arthur deal... hooked me at minute 3 ... a classic! It's funny too!

Ok, it wasn't R Rated, but it was a rite of passage.

Blame it on Rio. First movie in which I got to see tits.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086973/

I think it was rated PG 13 or something like that.

I had no idea excalibur was rated R in the past two days I must have seen the movie three times. Whoever was the costume designer in that movie should be bronzed and put on display in a museum.

Herr Doktor, it may have been rated R in the States, but it must've had a different rating in Canada because I remember when I saw it I was in Grade 9 or 10:

Certification: Australia:M / Canada:13+ (Quebec) / Canada:14 (Nova Scotia) / Canada:AA (Ontario) / Canada:PA (Manitoba) / Finland:K-8 / Sweden:Btl / USA:R / West Germany:16

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086973/

And yes, lots of boobage.  I remember that.

She snaps a polaroid of herself for Michael Caine. There is bush. I was 13ish when it came out. I remember these things.

Canadians have weird ratings.
