Help me find title of movie

My husband and I have tried to think of the name of this movie, it's from the 80's, I think. It's about a couple of kids that find an old cabin in the woods and an old man lives there, he has the cabin rigged w/ scary sounds to try to drive away the kids. They eventually become friends w/ the old man and he proceeds to tell them a story about the people that used to live in the house back in the "old western" days, and the family that lived there got attacked by like cowboys and indians or something, anyway it shows a little girl (that used to live there) fall down a hole in the ground while running away from the "cowboys & indians", and she had a locket or something in her hand. It's got something to do w/ old lost treasure, and is set kind of in the woods/wilderness/mountainous terrain. It's probably at least 20 years old and I'm not even sure if it wasn't a "made for tv" movie. If anyone knows what I'm talking about I would greatly appreciate it. It's driving me crazy. We thought the old man that was in it was Sunshine Parker (Road House), and have searched his credited roles throughout his career, just can't find it. Please help! If you know the answer, please email it to millikins14@aol.com thanks!

Sounds like...

This is close to the movie "Child of Glass" which was shown on the 'Wonderful World of Disney' every Sunday. [This movie is based on the book 'The ghost belonged to me'.] The difference between this movie and the one you described is that this movie takes place in the south and the child who falls down the well [and comes back as a ghost] died during/after the Civil War...

Hope this help.

I have been trying to get the name of this film also. They used to play it at our elementary school quite often. Please let me know if you find anything out. My friends have never seen it.

The name of that great little movie is called "The Witches
Pancakes". Sounds familiar? If you come across it, let me know.

No one believes me when I describe this movie, either. But it's real.

You're thinking of the classic film "Liquid Sky". Rent it and see.

October 20 2005, 2:19 AM

I AM LOOKING FOR A MOVIE ALMOST SIMULAR TO YOUR MOVIE, BUT I DONT KNOW THE TITLE FOR EITHEIR OF THEM. THE ONE I AM LOOKING FOR LOOKS LIKE A 70'S MOVIE WITH POLLYANNA STYLE CLOTHES. THESE TWO KIDS A GIRL AND BOY BEFRIEND A GHOST WHO SINGS A LULLABY. SHE HAS A LOCKET THAT IS FOUND IN A WELL WHERE SHE WAS KILLED. THE TIME OF HER DEATH HER FAMILY THOUGHT SHE DISAPPEARED. BUT THE TWO CHILDREN FIND HER IN THE WELL WHEN THE LITTLE GIRL FALLS IN THE WELL. I CAN ALMOST HEAR THE LULLABY, AND ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY THAT I DONT KNOW THE MOVIE, I TOO THINK ITS A MADE FOR TV MOVIE. I HAD THOUGHT IT WAS A DISNEY MOVIE, BUT I CANT FIND IT, THE CLOSEST I GOT WAS THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS, BUT THAT AINT IT EITHEIR. HOPE YOU GET BETTER LUCK THAN ME
