Mr. Oddness + others-- if you have never seen it, you HAVE to find it. Better yet, find it and OWN it. I'm talking about one of Peter Jackson's first films (it might even be his first), and it's so uber-gory, campy and whacked out... why, you'll pee yourself. The film is called BAD TASTE, and it's like space alien zombies trying to take over the world, starting with a farming village in New Zealand, their purpose being to harvest humans for their intergallactic fast-food chain. I don't think I've ever laughed my ass off so much.
This will make up for many a zombie disappointment.
