Lost in Translation

this is definately one of the best movies ever!!! and its one of the movies where you either understand the storie line, and let it consume you. Or your just an unfocused fagtard that needs constant explosions and dumbness to keep them entangled. I find the plot to this movie to be extremely beautiful, and the way that they focused more on sub-divisions (like small alleyways) instead of just large popular areas gave this movie a hidden fantasy appeal, like something that was kept secret in an alcove. But if you totally disagree with me, and your a fagtard that needs their dumbness fix, then please feel free to drop a line in here and call me the fagtard.

I liked the movie but let's face it, it's not that great.
It's a basic romantic comedy with just the ending not fitting the usual pattern, they meet->they fall for each other->they fight over some bullshit->they make up and everybody's happy.
Actors are good, directing is good, she really does a great job on getting the weird Japan vibe, it's funny and sometimes moving (but not too much), but it's not great.

I think the reason it feels so differently good is because it goes absolutely no where. You keep expecting something to happen but then nothing does, it's kinda like a roller coaster that is going up a hill then when it gets to the zenith, slowly starts sliding back the other side back to the starting point. Some people will like the change of pace, going backwards down a rollercoaster track, but others will complain because they didn't get to go do the corckscrews and loop the loops in the rest of the track.

were on the same page then

this movie is excellent because of its off-railiness, and it just has this relaxing effect on me that no other movie really offers. but it just exposes itself soo much, like you can really feel everything that the characters are feeling, their emotions flow off of the screen, and you jump into the story.

What do you think he says to her?

I wish I knew what he says to her.

The script says they say the "I'll miss you"'s but he whispers something to her, in the film. Don't you think?
