This movie rocks. Been years since I watched it, but had another chance this weekend. Now I have to go buy the DVD. However, I don't like the Directors Cut DVD because they put in an alternate ending where Ash overshoots his time by 100 years and the world is destroyed. I much rather prefer the fact he has to go back and work his crummy job after all that has happened.

My favorite moment: The part where he rebuilds his hand. Director Raimi uses film techniques that are evident in his Spider Man movies here.

there are alot of parts i like for example when ash fights all the little ashes and when he has to get the right book but my favorite part is ''THIS IS MY BOOM STICK''

Two Things:

1) In 'Shawn of the Dead' the director copied the Ash rebuilding his hand scene shot-for-shot when Shawn is late for work and forced to make breakfast quickly (trust me, it's funny if you get it)

2) I know it's trite by now, but 'Groovy' will always be my favorite line in that flick (and of course, Evil Dead II)

- part where the hot chick comes into the barn and doesn't close the door; he asks her if she grew up in a barn.

- part where he chops up the body and is burying it, and he says "what what can't hear you"

Good Ash: "Hey whats that on your face?"
Evil Ash: "HHMMM??"
Good Ash shovels a pile of dirt on the face of the already dismembered Evil Ash.
