Hello, Please help me find the title of this movie. It is an older movie where this couple (they might be archeologist) find some ancient writings (the writings are the actually movie). The only thing I can really remember is at the end of the movie they leave the cave with the ancient writings and a gust of wind destroys the paper into the wind. (my guess is to illustrate that no one else in the world will know what the story was about) I wish to see this movie again… please help!!
Movie was in color, I watched it in the early 80’s
'Sphinx'; 'Dot and the Kangaroo'? Jesus, people, this 'OK... there's this guy, and this girl , and then stuff - happens' description BS is getting my nerves.
I would be more than happy to help out - but Christ!
Loooooooooooook, I apologize for ‘BS’ description, I honestly don’t want to “get on anyone’s nerves”. I was about 6 years old when I watched it, God forbid I couldn’t locate my crayon and jot down more meaningful information (I mean I did learn plenty by 6 years old, I could read most of the Dick and Jane books,,,, on my own!). One day I happen to think of this movie because I bought the house I grew up in and remembered sitting in the living room watching “Some movie that happens to be about a man and woman who read this ancient scroll that happens to be what the movie is, almost like they are narrating it. I’m hoping that the ending of the broken scroll blowing away in the wind would be a unique detail that someone would remember. If not that’s cool, maybe I should go see a hypnotherapist and extract further detail for the people who want to “crack this case”.
‘Sphinx’ was a good movie it wasn’t it though. If your interested in box set of the ‘Dot’ series (1977) let me know (I’m missing 'Dot and the Koala' though (don’t let family borrow anything!))
