You don't know that it promotes violence until you see how Cage's character turns out. Or even see the movie. I hope you aren't being serious, but if you are, you should definately be killed. For England.

Go violence.

OK Dante, for your sage words on 'Lord of War', we're gonna have a little test - and you musn't cheat. You get this one right, I'll give you another.

What was the name of the film and the name of Sean Bean's character from which this quote is lifted?

"You're not sorry. You don't even know the meaning. Its just a vestigial word for a feeling you've never felt"

Inept on all imaginable levels. The only Thunder heard will be audiences stampeding in droves out of the theater to escape sheer torture and misery."

Nah, it's kinda my fault - I think people may have gotten confused that I was referring to something recent rather than a dated Sean Bean vehicle.

Anyway, the answer ws 'Equilibrium' - that was kinda snotty, as it was a stright to DVD picture. I'll try to be a little less trivial next time.

! I get to learn you something now!

I've heard many people say that it was a straight to DVD release, howevar, Equilibrium did in fact get a limited release. I saw it in my local theater.

My friend used to live in jolly ol' england and he was kind enough to have an officially sanctioned debate about the beaninator. It seems that since the U.S. has always perceived the english accent to embody villians and the first notable movie he was in, in my perspective, was goldeneye he has been type cast as a villain.. however across the pond he's a regular old hero and saves the day constantly for King and country. That'll teach you to have an accent...

You can thank George Lucas for that. Ever notice in the original Star Wars movies (4-6), all the officers from the Empire were British?

They couldn't take the Falklands, but the rest of the Universe - no problemo!
