I've noticed other messages as well here written by an Anonymous intended to bait me or draw me into a fight.
90% of the time I login and write messages. From now on it will be 100% of the time. To others who post here I ask that you ignore messages from this person.
Anonymous: I'm not interested in where you seem to be going with this. If you are looking for a fight I'm not interested. If you persist in imitating me I will seriously consider notifying the system administrator for this forum. My best advice for you is to get a login, and post under a name that is of your own creation rather than imitating me.
I've said I won't respond to you, so you seem to want to take this one step further because it seems you're angry with me. I think that the more you post to intentionally provoke me, the less cred you'll have here. People will see your Anonymous/Asuza posts for what they are; someone with a pretty thin skin over-reacting to a thread that was pretty lame to begin with.
Anyway, you're literate, you have a computer, and you are old enough to make choices. It's up to you.
I didn't mean to offend anyone here- I didn't realize Someone was already using the name. Well a similar name. I wasn't trying to impersonate you. If it really makes you that angry I can switch the name if you like. Asuza is actually my cats name.
Much respect for the board and board regulars... hopefully things have cooled down
click for peace song
My 3 sucky movies that I like (no particular order)
1) "Spaceballs" - (if thats good ... replace with "Airplane2" or ANY "Bill and Ted")
2) "Cliff Hanger" (or sub in "Point Break")
3) "My wife is an Actress" (French) I think that might be good sub "Farenilli" (Italy)--- might be good too... maybe SUB in 2 american crap heaps "Stone Cold" or "Road House"
That's what I got when I went to Google and typed in Asuza.
Er . . . cat's name?
Right.
Forgive me for being somewhat skeptical of the post before Ricardo's.
On the outside chance that said poster actually owns a cat named Asuza, then I am in error. A quick Search of Asuza on this board however turns up two posts by regulars from ages ago which were obvious spelling errors, and then a slew of very recent posts starting with the Extro Extro thread.

Original ninja turtles movie - "It's quite" "A little too quite" "thats Raph" "A little Too Raph"
Baseketball - Whenever you here of the southpark dudes it's Team America, or blah blee blah blah but baseketball and Orgasmo I think kick the crap out of Team America
Dumbo - It seems to be the over looked Disney movie, maybe because it didn't have a hot little mermaid dancin around in nothin but shells
Ok enough of that post I just just watch Hitch Hikers Guide and Battle Royal yesterday... yeah what a combo... for the first time and re affirmed two things.
1. Douglas Adams is one funny mo fo, even when diluted in a movie there were still some pretty good laugh out loud parts.
2. Japanese movies are the most dramatic movies ever maybe in there every day lives they act all crazy and melodramatic but holy heck those guys like the drama... I also watched Cashern which is a little more obscure... The movie is dripping with over stylization but still pretty cool to see a guy cut a robot with his hand.
Azuza you are one funny guy. Why do you take a stupid post on a message board so seriously??? Get away from the computer once in a while and get some fresh air my friend. It will do you some good!

Ok here are a few of the ones I can't stand:
Drum Line.... (ggaaagggg) Finally band nerds have their own The Natural...
Troy... Psssttt Hey Brad, Russell already did Gladiator and you running around with a pack of Trojans only envokes bad condom jokes, just stick to nailing Angelina Jolie so we will respect you.
8 Heads in a Duffelbag... What??? Did Pesci need to make a house payment or something???
Gone Fishing... What??? Did Pesci AND Glover need to make house payments???
And finally ANY of the Home Alone movies, when you sit and watch them you can almost smell your soul rotting......

I think you may have missed the gist of this post just like i did the first time I saw one similar to this, but exactly oppposite. You are supposed to post things that you think aren't given it's due praise within movie goers minds.... ie Tron
Now its not my favorite, cause I don't have a favorite, But i really liked Alien vs. Predetor. See all my friends thought it was stupid that like every human died, but yet they complain about how a human could never take down a predetor or take on a hord of Aliens.
'Saving Silverman' is a great great GREAT movie! Yeah, I said it, and I am proud to say that I saw it in the theater when it came out.
It's the comic subtlety within the film that I like.
Now I am going to point them out, so when you watch it next time, you can laugh and appreciate it as I do.
1) Watch Jack Black's face after Steve Zahn tells him that mime's don't talk.
2) Watch what Steve Zahn does to Amanda Peet's desk lamp, right before he and Jack Black leave her office.
3) The 26 'come ons' in a row to Jason Biggs.
4) Steve Zahn: Yeahaaaa!
Jack Black: Comingtoyaaaahaaaa!
5) When Steve Zahn and Jack Black present a graph to Jason Biggs showing the lackluster amount of fun, Jack Black says, "I'm chafing!"
faces of death were my movies of choice when i was pregnant. i shit you not. there was nothing like elevating my swollen feet on a friday night, resting a bowl of spaghetti on my belly, and watching FOD.
thanks for the memory, anon!
Ahh... '1941' - I remember seeing that joyous cinematic masterpiece on HBO was I was like 8 or 9 - and I loved it, I think beacuse I was 8 or 9.
I found it in a bin for 8 bucks a couple of summers ago, and my thoughts? Well, sure, I'll list of them
1) It's 2 1/2 hours long!
2) There's a lot of Canadians in that film
3) I'm still mystified that the same director created 'Schindler's List' and 'Saving Private Ryan'
4) It was supposed to be a musical
5) Scenes cut from '1941' were redone in 'Raiders of the lost Ark'
6) It's better if you watch it when you're 10.
See? This is exactly what I'm talking about. I am 42 years old and I laugh hysterically every time I see "1941." The funny thing is, I don't have a penchant for enjoying slapstick humor.
When you peel away the dark satire--laughing at the paranoia Americans are prone to (a theme that is ironically appropriate today) all that is left is 2.5 hours of slapstick comedy, which is only slightly more intelligent than a Three Stooges flick. I hate the Three Stooges. I can't explain why this movie "does it" for me.
When I show this movie to friends, they look at me with an eyebrow cocked as if to say, "You are not nearly as intelligent as I thought you were." Maybe they're right. Maybe I'm not. As I see it, there are two possibilities.
ONE: My friends are correct and I am not nearly as sophisticated as I think I am.
TWO: There is more to this movie than most people grok.
I am comfortable with either conclusion. In the end, I may not know art but I know what I like.
