Does 'Howard the Duck' count as a horror movie?

September 30 2005, 4:04 AM

Dude! OK, 3 items to bring up.

1) Such an arbitrary number to settle on - 46.

2) Even though you've basically exhausted the list on the classics - still happy to see some forgotten/cult ones there ('City of the Living Dead' - still ridiculously gory and scary). But, what? No, 'Fright Night?'

3) My personal fave (obviously from the 80s; obviously impossible to find) is the Grace Jones (?)classic, 'Vamp'.

here here on American Werewolf in London. Michael Landon in Werewore(teenage)

the only thing my feeble intellect could possible add is ...

Blair Witch Project

Which (not a witch, which is a play on words Iguess) was ALL the last 10 minutes.

Re: Scary flicks

I did scream most of the way through Howard the Duck [especially during the kiss) but maybe that doesn't count.

Scream [the first one] I think is notable...

I would also say "Ghostbusters" [the first one] and "Tremors" [the first one] because apparently I like comedy with my monsters...

Hey, a movie starting with Kevin Bacon peeing and a 50 story marshmellow man can't be wrong!
