I watched this movie over and over again as a child, I would like very much to find it again. It is about a boy who tries to cross a pipe over a whirlpool to impress his friends, and ends up falling in. He is transported to a different world where four or five giant kangaroos are the heroes. They are fighters, and he must help them defeat an evil man. The man captures the princess of the land and tries to win her over. She is then killed by a jealous minion of the evil man. Basically, the boy defeats him and is transported back to his world with the help of the kangaroos.
I have no idea what this movie is called, but I used to watch it constantly. It would mean a lot to me if anyone could help. Thanks.

(Yes, I am so impressed with myself, I said it twice. Man, I am getting really cocky lately)

Anyway, I remember seeing the trailer for this a few years ago and thought WTF mate?!? It's called 'Warriors of Virtue'. Enjoy!

Marc, if you hadn't of gotten it, I would've. I loved that movie. Well, in the sense that I loved... Tank Girl. Or, that movie where the kid stumbles across the alien suit that gives him super powers. Classic crappy movies that actually don't suck.

Holy Shit! Are you talking about 'Star Kid'?!? That was a little too past my days of finding it interesting methinks.

And as much as I had the opportunities to see 'Tank Girl', I think the campiness/low budget thing just reminded me of 'Hell Comes to Frogtown' too much - so I don't think I'd enjoy that Humanoid/Kangaroo flick either.

Lastly, I LOVE classic crappy movies (mostly from my impressionable years) like 'UHF'; 'License to Drive'; 'Three O'Clock High'; and so forth. Nowadays, they are pretty hard to come by.

PS - Yeah.. see 'Birth' the musical score is great, but it's slow in some places. But I guarentee you will not see where it is going.

Oh my god, that is the name of that movie. Seeing as how I'm 21 now, I believe I saw Star Kid when I was like 13 or so. Even then I knew it wasn't a good movie, but call it a guilty pleasure. Actually I throw that movie and Steel (the movie with Shaq) in the same category. I think they're just about from the same time too. Both pretty crappy movies, that I actually don't want to rip my hair out when I watch. And with tank girl, my first thought on the original post was that movie. About mid-movie in tank girl meets kangaroo men in the style of TMNT's personalities.
