OK - I HIGHLY doubt that I'll get any correct responses - but, nothing ventured. Normally I'm industrious (and ingenius) enough to figure these out on my own - but for this one, I really don't know where to begin.
Here's the thing. I hooked up with this girl last weekend, and the following morning when she was in the shower I couldn't find the remote, so I was forced to watch whatever station was on last. In this case, some 'Boo-Hoo-The-Story-Of-Some-Lady' station (i.e. LifeTime; WE; some other Estrogen enriched network).
99% of the time I'll never watch ANYTHING on stations like that (I'm in the Midwest for Christ's Sake, if I want dysfunction, I can just look out the window). But the 15 minutes I saw of this movie was just plain weird. It's a recent flick (less than 10 years ago, I'd say), low-budget, etc. And here is the core of the movie:
A young boy (around say, age 10) won't wear anything except girl's dresses. (I know, it's creepy, the kid is 10 - how could he POSSIBLY know if he is gay or not? But I digress) His rather hippie family doesn't seem to mind, but (understandbly) the poor kid is getting a real hard time in school. I don't suppose anyone has seen this? Hah? Searching has been a bust. You'd be surprised at what pops up on Google when you punch in 'movie'+'boy wearing dress' with the filter off. Cree-py!
Ha Ha, I've actually seen this WEIRD movie - I think on WE a couple times. It's called Bruno and the Plot Summary is the story of a unique young boy genius, Bruno (Alex D. Linz), whose expression of his own individuality. Kathy Bates and Shirley McLain are in it.
