There is no plot in this movie, no conclusion, and almost no character development.

The movie is advertized as a war movie and has absolutely no fighting scenes. Ok, you want to make a movie like that, fine, but for the love of money don't advertize it as something it is not.

They substituted vulgarity for story. In your face vulgarity that will make you uncomfortable if you watch this movie with your kids, parents, etc...

They were trying to prove a point with the vulgarity, to show us how it really is/was over there or in the corp, but you know what: If you have ever played a sport and been in a damn locker room you don't need a multy million dollar movie to show you how guys are. Who cares. They could have just made a public service anouncement "guys in the military are overtly vulgar, and do alot of whacking off" and saved me 2 hours of my life.

Well, thats all I got from the movie anyway. They did not focuse enough on the characters to make me care about any story line, but then again, there was no story line, so maybe thats why.

*****possible spoiler*******
They did have somewhat of a chance to make me feel something:
They could have showed the lead actor and his
girlfriend more before he left for duty, and made us feel bad about her leaving him, but noooooooo, that would have actually made this somewhat tolerable to watch. Then they could have had him come home and pistol whip her while he sodomized her new boyfriend with his rifle barell.

The people who like this movie are the same people who buy those late night get rich quick infomercial things. They got meat in their head.

There was no movie. There was no plot. There was no rising or falling action. There was story line. There was no conclusion. There was little if any character development.

SO WHAT THE HELL DID YOU LIKE ?
