Now, I'm not the hardest sell when it comes to movies. I've seen a quite a bit, but I like only a few. And sure, I bitch and moan like the rest of us when we are disappointed. However, there are a handful that would seem as if they were created especially for me - films I enjoy over and over.
For example: (in no particular order)
'Kill Bill, Vol. 1'
'Fight Club'
'Shawn of the Dead'
'Eraserhead'
'Once Upon A Time In The West'
'Die Hard'
'Dark City'
'Gross Pointe Blank'
Coming out early next year is Darren Aronofsky's 'The Fountain'. I liked 'Pi' more than others (mostly because I thought it was about as close as one could come to regarding a 'sequel' to Eraserhead). And even though 'Requiem for a Dream' is admittedly difficult to sit through, it really is an excellent film (and no, I'm not just saying that because of the Jennifer Connelly parts... OK, well maybe I am a little. Ya gotta admit, that last scene of hers, while disturbing, was also pretty hot, huh?). Anyway, 'The Fountain' kinda seems like if Aronofsky had directed 'Solaris' (Wait! Don't stop reading because I mentioned 'Solaris'!)

Always remember folks, 'Van Helsing' wasn't Hugh Jackman's fault.
