I know the Bored has been relatively stagnant for the past couple of months, but this is getting ridiculous.

And to be honest, I thought about apologizing, knowing perfectly well I tend to evoke a snooty tone now and again (especially within this medium), but I reread what I wrote, and while it was a tad harsh, I didn't think it was tantamount to cyber-bullying.

Mike, Dude. Relax. I've never seen someone take criticism so badly. Moreover, no one likes a drama queen. The dumb references, fat jokes? Dog semen? (spelled wrong) Gay and AIDS bashing? C'mon, even if you're a kid, you're better than that.

Sure, when I first joined the Bored myself, I got cut down pretty severely at first. What I didn't do, was bitch and moan and resort to infantile tactics (Ya gotta admit Dude, you posted three different threads in a row, that all basically said the same thing). But, being parsimonious is something I have problems with as well.

Unless you ditch the ego, the regulars here will ignore you. And that's not necessarily being snooty, no one tends to like the guy trying desperately to garner attention to himself. If you wanna continue this 'fraid not, 'fraid so' bullshit, fine. It'll just fall on deaf ears, and sooner or later you'll fall to the wayside here along with the White-power fanatics, the Insane Clown Party weirdos, and a bunch of guys that seem to think they hosed by a second-rate filmmaker.

Mikemilk, the movie board has always been . . . . tough.  If you are looking for community, the TV board is probably more your style, but even that happy, happy place has been somewhat brutal recently.  There is almost inevitably a baptism of fire when you come to movie board.  If you can take the heat and have something interesting to say you should stay. 

Comebacks like "Oh yeah, well you are a fucking fag!",  don't usually go over very well here.  Most regulars who read something like that figure . . . ."teenager or child who can't control his emotions." or "What a pathetic comeback that was. Just like a troll to insult someone"  Likewise with the spelling mistakes.  When I see someone repeatedly fuck up his spelling (intentionally???) it says to me that this person has no education and probably has very little interesting to contribute here. 

I can understand  M.D.'s frustration because the place is becoming a magnet for all manner of idiots; skinhead wannabes, con men who direct gay porn movies, spammers, and teenage trolls.
