One of the first two new Star Wars movies (couldn't even tell which was which) came on Fox yesterday and I tried watching it. I have to categorize those first two as now permanently unwatchable. Much worse than I'd even remembered.

i saw that too. it was the second one. It's one thing to have to sit through the thing in a theater, and another thing to have to sit through it + commercials!

now I see him reprising Dustin Hoffman's role in Rainman for some odd reason.

I concur, once in a blue moon I borrow 'Attack of the Clones' from my buddy - here are the only watchable scenes:

1. Parts of the Obi-Wan/Jango (Hey! My first name sounds like a family game!) Fett duel in Seattle - er, that Water planet.

2. Anakin losing his arm

3. Mace Windu's umpteen attempts to look pensive

4. Those cool sonic bombs in the asteroid field

5. Watching the impossibility Yoda (while always reminding oneself that he is 900 years old, needs a cane to walk, YET can jump around like Mary Lou Retton and parry like Zorro)
