Please help me remember this move

Hello,
I was about 10 years old or so when I saw this movie(I am now 27). I remember some parts but not all. The reason i want to remember is because it had a beautiful piano soundtrack and since then I learned to play piano and I want to play the songs from the soundtrack.

The movie was about a couple that got married and then started fighting and got divorced. these are the only 2 scenes I remember. 1. They were at a gas station, it was raining heavily, and he kept going and she was stuck in the rain(or the opposit, maybe he was stuck in the rain) anyway, then he or she kept driving and stopped the car, reversed and picked him or her up.
2. At the end they were outside i think near a pool(not sure about the pool) and the little girl was stuck in the middle and each of them was pulling her hand from both sides because they were arguing about her and she was crying and telling them to leave them alone.
I know its not very clear but for those who know, please inform. thanks.
Btw the whole soundtrack was piano, I thought it was richard clayderman but I searched him inside out and i could find it so I guess it wasnt him.

Thanks again
John
