if anyone can help, please do! i saw this movie, probably in the 70's, that i cannot remember the name of. all i know is this guy (maybe sinbad?) entered these weird gates to a strange underworld. he had to navigate this path and if he was tempted to stray by either women, riches, or whatever, he would be turned to stone. at the end of the path was a sort of small pyramid or all seeing eye thing. i belive he did indeed retrieve the "eye" and all the other would be heroes who did get turned to stone are revived. does anyone know? it's killing me. thanks in advance.

It's not 'Galaxy of Terror' is it? I know it isn't, but that was the first movie I ever saw (unsupervised) on Cinemax as a kid. And I DEFY anyone else out there who claims they have seen of it.
i'll check out those sinbad movies, i think it's a possibility. as for galaxy of terror, i do remember that. didn't a woman sort of get "molested" by a snake-like alien in that? weird.
I saw Galaxy of Terror at the theators. My only memory of this movie involves a rape scene with a giant maggot. It's really more of a mental scar than a memory.
