Don't get me wrong, I love a good thriller (and there was NO WAY I was gonna get dragged to see that Rachel Green Aniston debacle, 'Derailed'), but I think we have Oscar winner for next year regarding the make up artist for 'Basic Instinct 2'. I gotta admit, Ms. Stone doesn't look too shabby, even though she is closer to my mother's age than my own (shudder).

OK, I realize that I am running a thin tangent here, but...

I read in the NY Times a few months ago (yes, I read the NY Times) that Charles Webb, the author of the novel that the film 'The Graduate' is based upon. Has written a sequel. No, that that tripe with Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Costner (would it kill you to even consider making 'Untouchables II' Kevin?).

Anyway, here is the really weird thing. Charles Webb (who is pushing 70) has a contract with a publishing firm that the manuscript for the sequel will NOT be published until after his death. Which I think, pretty friggin' ballsy and genius. 'Cause even if it sucks, he won't be around for the bad publicity.
