Yeah, uh... too many genres spoil the movie. I can't quite gauge what the film is either. Thriller? OK. Racial subplot? Maybe. Supernatural influences? Whatever. Can we stuff more cliches into the trailer?

All I know from the last 10 years is - if Samuel L. Jackson has a big role, his character will yell a lot. Julianne Moore's character will cry a lot. And that tool that used to be on 'Blind Justice' will overact.
Yeah, I think I'm gonna pass on this one. I'll watch The Clooney's civics class snorefest before I see 'Freedomland'.
Saw this. Thought about walking out of the movie at least twice, but at the end, I decided it wasn't terrible, and was actually a pretty good movie. It was a movie constructed around making a point, but I won't divulge any further, for risk of spoiling it.
Overall it was the best movie that I hated watching... So put THAT in your pipe and smoke it.
