I'm not a nitpicker by any means - Hell, I own a t-shirt that reads, "Who Shot Nice Guy Eddie?" (from 'Reservoir Dogs'), but I'm just curious of any plot holes anyone knows of out there that might be interesting.
Here's mine: From the original 'Die Hard' (1988) Bruce Willis is tooling around with Alan Rickman under the roof - thinking that he is an escaped hostage. But earlier in film, (just before Rickman's character offs Takagi) Willis gets a glimpse of Rickman from underneath the desk in the other room. And no, it's not a clear camera shot, but it's still bugs me.
Not sure if this counts but basically all of the godfather game... Why are you still doing dirtywork as an underboss/don? Why do you assault enemy compounds unaided? Why are you suddenly made don after destroying said compounds?... Very unsatisfying
Time Cop: [ok, yes, I did waste $7 seeing this dreck]. The end where the wife is being chased and all of a sudden she's on the roof. And an almost impossible place on the roof at that.
When Michelle Pfeiffer unfolds the newspaper that was in the picture frame, she sees an article about the missing college student. However, the paper was framed because Harrison Ford's character had won an award and there was a picture and article about it. When they show the flashback to the event, the missing girl was at the awards ceremony. She wouldn't have been declared missing for at least a day afterwards. So Ford's award ceremony and the notice about the missing girl wouldn't have been in the same paper. It's small but it's such an important aspect of the movie.
