The clips I have seen, are surprisingly unfunny. A grown man thinking the Sistine Chapel is the 'Sixteenth Chapel', is not funny. Jennifer Aniston is not funny - nor attractive. Yes, I don't care how many people tell me how funny it is, I just don't see it.
And Todd - how could you give 'Mission Impossible 3' more cook-ays than 'Batman Begins'?!?!
It was my girlfriend's birthday this weekend, so we went. It's not half as bad as most people would have you believe, but it's not that great either. First 2/3, kinda funny, Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) is a scene stealer, but he isn't in it enough. The final third is just very melodramatic high school romance bullshit.
Oh, and they don't get back together in the end, which was nice.
(starting from the end)
i had to sit there afterwards to see just who all these
movie goers were. a 5pm showing($3.75, but they started the preview\commercials well before 5.)and there were like NO empty seats. i had convinced myself to suck it up and sit in the front, all in my face giving me a head-ache, make me wanna puke my popcorn in my popcorn bag bullshit experience.
However, thanks to my dategirl(YAY XXXX!), we managed to squeeze 3 rows up from and 3 seats over from the center..
now this was supposed to be a comedy?!?! and for sure it's not!
VinceV getting beaten by a gay guy, gay guy sings that "Yes" song in his face and rachel(jennifer whoever) all baldly prancing. if this is what Ralphy thinks is funny then he should have stayed a little boy at christmas time, FOREVER.
i chuckled once towards the begining and dategirl looked over at me, so the next time i was supposed to laugh i made sure she(and the others around)knew it was a fake laugh. and yea, they got the point and i felt the vibes of them agreeing.
i'd really like to be clever\cleaver but it didn't give much to work with outside of it being a boring chic-relationship-flic.
except maybe 'That70'sShow' and 'The40yrOldVirgin' should sue Ralphy!
