So what happens at the end? Does he die or somehow get an antidote? Yes I'm asking for a spoiler because I don't want to wait until DVD to find out how they angled this.

Ok, here's my guess of how the movie Crank ends:
He's running and running and ALMOST dies a couple of times but doesn't. And save the girl and kills the badguys and then dies really dramatically as he sacrafices himself while saving the girl and killing the aforementioned bad guys.
Now if DISNEY produced this movie, my guess would be:
He's running and running and ALMOST dies once but doesn't and saves the girl and the bad guys inadvertently kill themselves accidentally while trying to kill him. Then he finds an antidote which is really the chemical compounds found in the girls lipstick, which she administers personally. And then they go get married and everyone sings.
This is such a big spoiler that I feel weird posting it. So if you seriously are going to see this movie it's not worth reading onward. Even if you feel like you can't resist. Resist. Hit backspace. Get out of here. I am about to give away the ending of the movie!!!

Ok. In the end the lead guy whatshisface is on a plane or helicopter or something having a fist fight with the bad guy. He grabs the guy and pulls him out of the plane without parachutes. They continue fighting as they plummet to the ground. Both with no parachutes.
Punch punch punch whatever. He grabs the bad guys neck and snaps it and sets him adrift floating away all dead or paralyzed or whatever.
Whatshisface continues falling. We see a shot from above as he goes straight down and the ground rushes up under him. The wind is blowing and he's totally being cool about it.
He casually takes out his cellphone and dials. He gets his girlfriends answering machine and tells her she's the best or whatever. And that he's got to go.
He hangs up and keeps falling straight down into the city, past the buildings, fast fast fast then BAM he lands on the top of a car and bounces straight up. He's off screen for a second. Then he lands right next to the camera with a crunchy thud. His bloody dead eye looking out at us.
