the scariest moment of prisoner was when bev baker murdered a male social worker with a knitting needle for nothing.her friend tried to give her an alibi but changes her mind when she hears that he had a wife and twin baby girls.

Deborah, you seem to like shows about women being cruel to each other.

For the uninitiated, this fictional show was about the lives of female prisoners. It wasn't anything like Caged Heat or its deliciously vulgar knock-off Chained Heat (starring Linda Blair!). This was a TV series with plot arcs and I don't recall any nudity but it may have been edited out for US TV.

This TV show was shown on cable TV when I was growing up in the early 80's. I rather liked it too. Meg was quite a dykish looking woman but she was the boss of Cell Block H. There was another skinny, ugly, blonde woman that challenged Meg but I think she was murderd. I recall one scene where they tortured another woman by putting her hand between a steam press (used to starch shirts). I haven't seen this show on US TV in 20 years.
