OK, I'll admit it, I liked the first 'Saw' flick. I liked the fact it was cheap-looking, the whole 'prisoners-that-can't-trust-each-other' theme, and if I didn't already have a fear of creepy dolls, this movie nailed it. No, it wasn't brain surgery, but what horror film is, really?
'Saw II' kinda sucked, but that is expected with any sequel (save 'Aliens' and 'Empire Strikes back')
But 'Saw III' looks to be absolutely unwatchable. THIS is supposed to be the THE Halloween feature, and the commercials and trailers have failed miserably. I realize that only 17 year-old gore-fest mongers are the core demographic. But I am disappointed. They could do so much with such a thin premise.
