Don't all kill me, but Michael Bay gets a lot of flack that he doesn't deserve. Yes, Pearl Harbor sucked, a serious, reflective movie he should not be helming, but The Rock was pretty kick ass. And Armageddon was awesome while you were actually watching it. Most of his decent movies are usually pretty stupid, but they look great. I have high hopes for this movie, and propose that this material is perfect for him.

It doesn't look at terrible as I thought it would be. It does smatter of Baytasticness though... I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a 2 hour European Car commerical.

I think it will be a cool movie but it won't make me think Optimus Prime was my dad like the original cartoon did.... a year ago.

I totally agree. Michael Bay doesn't make Oscar movies, he makes entertaining movies. Movies that are so over the top, you'll sit back and enjoy the 11 bucks you spent on the ticket. That's exactly what a new Transformer movie should be. It should be over the top computer generated graphics that blow you away. A cartoon would seem lame even on TV. I saw the preview and almost peed myself with excitement.

The little girl had a "My Little Pony". Nice touch.

I don't think I'll rush out to see it though, unless my brother or friends drag me out to see it. Man those toys were cool whilst growing up.
