Actually, not too shabby. Todd hit the review right on the mon-ay with this one. And in point of fact, I enjoyed the 'slow' parts - ugh, does that mean I'm getting older?
PS - If I'm even in as HALF good shape as Sly at 60... I hope to God, I'll be sleeping with a 30 year old (at least).
The minute Mason Dixon broke his hand on Rocky's hip and Rocky started going to town...that was what Hollywood has been missing. People wonder why Cinderella Man bombed at the box office. Let's be serious. The movie had no heart and the boxing scenes were BORING. Boxing movies fail because of the fact that they don't let these guys be human. That, or the actor simply doesn't know how to get into the head of a boxer. The only two great boxing characters played on screen: Rocky and LaMotta. Of course, they were played by legendary actors.
