Doubt this one will last long

I hate Kevin Smith flicks. But I saw this one like, 4 times in theaters and bought the DVD. I love love love this movie.

A movie is so much better when your expectations are so low. I love this movie.

I wouldn't even say it was my expectations. I think Smith just nailed it, for once. He took the characters from the first, and gave them some depth. I actually cared about them. I liked them. I was rooting for them. And the dialogue was so much more, natural this time out. Everything in the first felt stilted and forced. The writing and delivery were spot on here. In fact, every time they went for humor here, it worked. Every single time. Except the donkey show. Which in set up was hilarious but in execution was lame. But what really drove this movie home, was the 10 minute scene between Dante and Randall in jail. That was fucking great. I can't say enough good things about this flick.

This movie would be better than Clerks ( They are both great ) Except for that fucking dance scene.

Honestly, the original Clerks sucks ass. There are two funny lines in the entire movie. It's a painful bore to watch.
